Shashuka cu vinete si branza Feta

Eggplant Shashuka with Feta


Reteta este scrisa in limba romana si in limba engleza.

The recipe is written both in English and Romanian.

Versiunea in limba romana:

· Timp de pregatire: 15 minute

· Timp de coacere: 30 minute

Ingrediente:

· 1 Vanata coapta

· 2 oua

· 1 ceapa alba

· 1 ardei rosu gras

· 4 catei usturoi

· 1 ardei iute

· 5 rosii cherry

· 200 ml sos de rosii

· 1 lingurita Paprika afumata

· 1 lingurita praf chili

· 2-3 fire coriandru

· 2-3 fire patrunjel

· ½ lingurita praf de chimen/ seminte de chimen

· 30 grame branza Feta- sau dupa preferinta

· Ulei de masline

· Sare

· Piper


Mod de preparare:

1. Taiem ceapa, ardeiul gras si usturoiul in felii subtiri

2. Intr-o tigaie adaugam ulei de masline si legumele taiate

3. Taiem vanata in cuburi micute si o adaugam in tigaie

4. Adaugam condimentele noastre, incepem cu sarea, piperul, Paprika, chili si chimenul, amestecam bine

5. Intre timp preincalzim cuptorul la 180C

6. Taiem coriandrul si patrunjelul si le adaugam in tigaie

7. Taiem rosiile cherry si le adaugam peste compozitie

8. Adaugam sosul de rosii si amestecam

9. Lasam compozitia pe foc cateva minute

10. Adaugam compozitia intr-un vas rezistent termic



11. Facem loc in compozitie sa putem sa asezam ouale

12. Lasam compozitia in cuptor pentru 15 minute, sau pana cand ouale sunt facute*

*Eu am acoperit vasul pentru ca sa ma asigur ca ouale sunt facute

13. Garnisim cu patrunjel verde, Feta si ardei iute taiat


 




English version:

Ingredients:

• 1 eggplant

• 2 eggs

• 1 white onion

• 1 red pepper

• 4 cloves garlic

• 1 hot pepper

• 5 cherry tomatoes

• 200 ml tomato sauce

• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

• 1 teaspoon chili powder

• 2-3 coriander seeds

• 2-3 threads of parsley

• ½ teaspoon cumin powder / cumin seeds

• 30 grams of Feta cheese - or as desired

• olive oil

• Salt

• Pepper


Method of preparation:

1. Cut the onion, bell pepper and garlic into thin slices

2. In a frying pan add olive oil and the chopped vegetables

3. Cut the eggplant into small pieces and add it to the pan

4. Add in spices, start with salt, pepper, paprika, chili and cumin, mix well

5. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180C

6. Cut the coriander and parsley and add them to the pan

7. Cut the cherry tomatoes and add them over the composition

8. Add the tomato sauce and mix

9. Leave the composition on the fire for a few minutes

10. Add the composition in a heat-resistant pot

11. We are going to add eggs, so we will make room in the composition so we can add the eggs

12. Leave the composition in the oven for 15 minutes, or until the eggs are done *

* I covered the pot to make sure the eggs were done

13. Garnish with green parsley and chopped hot peppers
